This week starts off with you clinging on for dear life. It’s funny though, because you’re not actually in a place that calls for that kind of energy. It’s an old reflex coming up, muscle memory.

Because you know that everything you’re seeking is accessible to you from within. You know this. Remember. Remember. Remember.

First of all, I don’t like hyperbole in spirit talk, but if you read last week’s energy update and did the accompanying practice that was baked into the reading, congrats, because you literally manifested the energy this week.

You took my lead and made the commitment to nurture your own energy, to glow from the inside out, to be the light in your own life, and it’s paying off almost immediately!

There is a lot of chaotic energy coming through this week. You’re feeling an internal panic about something, or maybe everything or anything.

This is your shadow coming out, your worry being magnified by the simple fact that you do not have all the information you need to move forward.

The energy this month is one of divine intervention. The powers that be (God? Your guardian angels? Mother Nature?) are stepping in to take the wheel.

These energies are set up to support you to receive, which can feel uncomfortable, especially if you are someone who takes comfort in the act of doing, being busy, and ticking things off a list. 

You might struggle to focus this week, but it’s because you’re really excited about something. It’s not even necessarily a specific project or event you’re excited about, you’re just excited about your LIFE and your potential.

Something has shifted within you that is also shifting your reality. Where obstacles and blockers used to take up space, there is now a clear path ahead, and you’re eager to run in head first.

If you find yourself unable to sleep, or waking up up more tired than usual, know that there is some mental processing that needs to be done or is already underway. DON’T make any big decisions on little sleep, and don’t book a cruise around the world at 3am. 

Expect some good news or something worthy of celebration in the coming weeks, if not days. There’s no big windfall or job offer coming in, but you’re going to have some small wins that are of real significance to you personally, proof that your passion is worthy of pursuing, evidence that your success doesn’t have to be a result of pushing yourself to the limit every time.

You’re scared of silence in the mind, scared that if you stop thinking then you will stop planning ahead and lose track of all the ways that harm can find you. You don’t want to relax because you’ve never felt safe enough to relax. So you can only find safety in the doing, in the act of hyper-vigilance. Alertness is your status quo.

I can hear you wondering: how do I connect with my truth? Yes, it's a vague and hard-to-grasp concept. There is no doubt about that. But Wheel of Fortune is spinning in your favour, so you don't have to actively seek out ways to figure out what you really want. The universe is giving you lots of options in October.

This week is delivering a message to you, it could be in the form of a letter, a phone call, an appointment or verdict you’ve been waiting on. It’s not necessarily something outwardly important, it might seem insignificant from the outside, but what you’re being directed to observe is how you react to this message.

Let me guess — you’ve been taking stock of life and asking why you made all those questionable decisions in the past. Looking at your younger self through a lens of judgement, dismissing their innocence, their naivety. But what you’re really diminishing is their resilience. 

Things are shifting at the moment, and they’re heading in a positive direction even though it doesn’t feel like it for you. There’s something you’ve lost out on, or feel like you’ve lost out on and there’s a lot of sadness around that, you’re spending a lot of time thinking deeply about how things could have been if you’d reached that goal or been offered that opportunity, and that sadness is valid of course but what is the root?

Your external world is becoming extremely well connected to your soul. This is because you’re no longer looking for a leader to tell you how to connect with spirit — you’re consulting your inner oracle, listening to your body, and trusting in the universal power that lives within and without.

The fear is here to say: this is the fight for your life. As in, it’s time to stand up and fight for YOUR life — not the life you think you should have, not the life that looks good to other people, not the life that you plastered on your vision board 5 years ago… the life that THIS version of you knows they are destined to create.

We need to talk about this resistance you’re feeling towards your current transition. It’s funny because you want this rebirth. You know that something isn’t working, or something is coming to an end, or NEEDS to be finished, even if the final nail hasn’t been placed in the coffin just yet… It’s undeniable that you want something to change.

Here’s what no one wants to tell you about shadow work: it is emotionally exhausting. It requires presence, bravery, and a willingness to truly see yourself in all its messiness.

You are trying so very hard to figure something out. Ignore the ringing in your ears and power through. This isn’t about dissociating or ignoring your wants and needs. It’s about ignoring the urge to run from the truth.
