a week of wild card opportunities
these readings are timeless. Trust what resonates and allow yourself to let go of what doesn’t.
Last week you were being led into a state of being the observer. Lots of you took advantage of this invitation, and it has given you some much-needed relief from the overthinking and analysing, but more importantly, has reminded you that leaning back and choosing not to act can be a very valid (and powerful) form of action.
your biggest strength
In your commitment to align with the energy of observation, you allowed your mind to rest. A rested mind is so rare in this day and age, that it can become your biggest strength.
Similarly, modern life tricks us into acting fast, being the first one to declare a new point of view, or the first one to share a viral piece of news… but as you embody the observer you see that this speed of living is not only unsustainable for the body and mind, but it’s also very ineffective.
You’re seeing (and feeling) that those who act with intention, on a timeline that is solely their own, almost always reap the biggest rewards. Because they are not succumbing to the demands of others, but surrendering to the godly pace of nature.
slow down to speed up
King of Cups is teaching you that when you lean back, when you think deeply and allow your mind enough space and time to reflect, do the research, think critically… you build a life rooted in truth and knowing, whilst everyone else rushes to keep up with the crowd, never allowing themselves the depth of thought that has the potential to rapidly speed up their evolution.
The challenging energies this week are about you wanting to take action. Wanting to see viable proof, tangible results that confirm you’re on the right path. But 8 of Pentacles is saying: slowly does it.
The slower you think and move, the more intentional your path becomes. This means there are fewer ‘wrong turns’ along the way and you’re taking the time to build the foundation of what’s to come.
How many times have you been overtaken by someone who is desperate to get to their destination as quickly as possible, only for you both to end up at the traffic lights in the exact same spot?
don’t mistake action for certainty
Because certainty doesn’t come from activity alone. It comes from knowing who you are, what you think, and what your values are. These are all things that come from quietly observing your thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
When you are certain of who you are, and are able to embody that every step of the way, the destination becomes less important.
You’re simply enjoying the experience of being.
wild card opportunities
And this week, as you begin to live in this mindset, you see that the ‘destination’ you had in mind may not even half of what you’re capable of. Because ‘wild card’ opportunities are crossing your path towards the end of the week. Some of you will take them, others will let them pass by. But what you choose is not the point — the point is that they only come to you when you’re ready to receive… and observing without the need for action is a precursor to effectively receiving.
Notice how often you start trying to fix things this week, how often your jump in to do ‘damage control’ for other people. Receive this week’s wisdom by letting others fight their own battles.
Love you,
Fiona
