First of all, I don’t like hyperbole in spirit talk, but if you read last week’s energy update and did the accompanying practice that was baked into the reading, congrats, because you literally manifested the energy this week. You took my lead and made the commitment to nurture your own energy, to glow from the inside out, to be the light in your own life, and it’s paying off almost immediately!

The overarching energy for the week ahead is The Sun, which is a symbol of the powerful energy that resides within all of us, but in particular, is coming through strong for you because you are choosing to believe in your ability to embody the light.

You’re noticing this week that when you make this energetic shift, life really does start to alter and morph into something that brings you joy. The secret here though, is that it’s you who brings the joy, it’s always been you, and that revelation is a joy in and of itself, so drink it all in and maybe soon you’ll begin to trust that this is always accessible to you, that the heat of the sun burns bright even when it isn’t visible, even when the clouds appear or the night falls.

The moves you make this week won’t even feel like ‘moves’ at all. There is no strategy required when you’re in The Sun energy, because you just shine and opportunities appear in your path. Not necessarily life-changing opportunities, but little flashes of what you’e capable of, little wins that you know from experience are the fabric of the person you’re becoming.

Old flames might be dropping by just to tell you how you positively impacted their self-growth, colleagues are bigging you up in meetings you’re not even part of, and financial growth is accumulating and giving you tangible, visible proof that you already ARE that b*tch.

You know you’re on the right path. The question this week is: how can you learnt to enjoy it?

a new becoming

Because as you ‘become’ this more aligned version of yourself, it’s going to be tempting to repeat old patterns. On one hand, this is actually a smart move on your part — you’re acknowledging the wisdom that you have gained from this life so far, looking for tried and tested methods for success — but on the other hand, do you really want to repeat something you’ve already done?

Even if the technique or habit helped you achieve the desired outcome, you’re been asked to consider, did you enjoy the process that preceded it? 

This is a pivotal moment for you, a chance to rewrite your programming, to replace struggle with ease, self-abandonment with tenderness, lack mentality with trust in the divine. You’ve slipped out of the old chapter and with that, you’ve dropped some of the beliefs that your ‘old character’ held so dear.

Before long, you’ll be a new character, a new you, with a new set of beliefs taking hold and shaping your reality. In this brief window things are still malleable — so what beliefs so you want to lay down and cement into the foundations of your new life? The Star card is signifying that reflecting on this will offer spiritual healing, a higher perspective, and unlock the frequency needed to take you to the next level. Basically, very freaking exciting. 

bending the rules

The word of caution this week comes from The Emperor, because with all this positive energy you’re likely to bump up against sharp corners that could threaten your motivation.

I’m talking systems that lock you out of spaces, seemingly immovable barriers, missed deadlines, or finding out about opportunities just a little too late. But The Emperor energy is often a stern front that can be softened. So if you missed that deadline, submit it anyway, and know that behind many rulers are real people willing to bend the rules for the right people.
