There were small actions, little moments where you spoke up when it felt scary, where you insisted that others respect your needs, and I know that none of this comes easy.

It’s an energetic effort to pull yourself back into alignment, time and time again. But for the first time, now, you’re starting to see that there are unexpected benefits to respecting your own specific needs as a human.

For one, the Ace of Wands is telling me that the way you’ve had your back over the last few weeks has had an impact on your creative mind. In actively resisting temptation to engage with the behaviours that drain you, you’ve made your mind and body a far more hospitable place to be.

So much so, that you’re finding yourself more connected to your passions and more willing to follow those ideas that come to you in the middle of the night, and more able to think openly about their potential without being trapped by the harsh way you used to see yourself.

Amazingly, by seeing less of some people, you’ve been able to get to know yourself better and within that you’ve been able to give yourself the pep talk you’ve been needing.

As exciting as all this is, Knight of Wands is reminding us that big ideas cannot come into fruition through passion alone. They need a guiding force who can protect and nurture the spark without charging ahead — the faster you move the more vulnerable the spark becomes.
