You are trying so very hard to figure something out. Ignore the ringing in your ears and power through. This isn’t about dissociating or ignoring your wants and needs. It’s about ignoring the urge to run from the truth.
You want the truth, but you’re not willing to sit in it. It’s not easy. This month is going to put obstacles in your way that will nudge you closer to figuring this out. I’m getting the sense that you’re looking for a logical solution in a place that defies logic. You’re retracing old thought patterns, repeating old coping mechanisms that no longer work. That’s scary and uncomfortable, so instead of trying anything new, you’d rather keep repeating old habits mindlessly without venturing out of your comfort zone to find new ways of flourishing. So you stay stuck.
The outdated aura remnants are flaking away. They’re revealing what needs to happen. You won’t find your solution externally; it will be revealed to you as a result of sitting within the process. And this process may feel otherworldly at times. You’ve already had strange experiences and coincidences lately, and you’ve not wanted to admit that your internal compass is getting stronger and stronger. There is a deep part of you that absolutely knows the way forward, but it’s an aspect of you that you don’t feel safe to approach yet. This month will get you in the headspace to face it.
Be aware of the temptation to act impulsively. Notice when you’re being carried away by other people’s energy, when you get caught up in their excitement and agree to take part in something that doesn’t feel right for you. You can change your mind, but if you’ve already taken the leap! Therefore, this month you should take time to sit with (not overthink) certain decisions. Let them bubble away in the background, don’t hold any plans or ideas too tightly. The energy of August is an unfurling… like a flower slowly opening at a pace that is imperceptible to the human eye. Yet once it’s in full bloom, it can’t be denied.
Your spiritual work this month is rooted in playfulness, self-acceptance, and open-heartedness. Be the kid you never got to be – make that art project that your parents said was too messy, sing at the top of your voice in the shower, dress in the clothes that you were too shy to admit you loved. This is not a time for logic, planning, or predictability. Choose the fun option whenever you can, choose the colourful option, the thing that makes you laugh, smile, or create something new.
Get outside, be in historical spaces if you can. I’m seeing castles, old bridges, museums, and a pirate ship for some of you. There is an education to be had from these activities, by seeing the world through young eyes again, by replacing the overthinking mind with the curious mind. When you are in that frequency, the subconscious starts to process things and alchemise them into fresh energy that will push you forward with so much ease you’ll wonder why you didn’t do it sooner.
This phase is just a part of the journey, and it requires patience, so you may as well enjoy the wait!
